Max Mara’s Wrapped in Luxury Exhibits Investment Dressing at its Finest

When it comes to investment dressing, a Max Mara coat is in­variably at the top of any fashion savant’s shopping list. With that in mind, the label launched the Atelier collection in 2009. This special project, which continues to this day, has a dedicated design team who continue to reimagine these signature looks. Atelier coats are mostly made by hand with double-faced alpaca, cashmere and pure camel hair. To celebrate its storied outerwear heritage, Max Mara created a travelling exhibit of street-style-inspired photos of celebrities wearing its classic coats. Max Mara’s Wrapped in Luxury, which opened on its final stop in Huston today, includes images of Jennifer Lopez, Elle Fanning and Lupita Nyong’o, to name a few, in their Max Mara finest.
