Men’s Vogue wouldn’t publish a 2006 Juergen Teller-snapped Marc Jacobs ad that featured a gay couple kissing. Starring in the ad was runway makeup artist (and lifetime crush of our beauty editor) Dick Page. The U.S. publication of Marc Jacobs Advertising 1998-2009 by Juergen Teller comes out next week. LA Fashion designer Anand Jon Alexander has been sentenced to 59 years to life in prison for sexually assaulting numerous underage aspiring models. A line up of 13 women testified that the designer had harassed or raped them, after approaching them online and luring them to his apartment with the promise of modeling work. [Yahoo!]
An exhibit examining our love affair with Kate Moss through fashion photography history was set to open at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, but has been delayed due to funding issues. Although Moss is involved with the project, apparently she hasn’t scraped together the needed dough herself so the museum is seeking the help of private donors in order to go forward by 2011.
