I want to be a DKNY girl. Come fall, I want to kick up my heels in Central Park wearing the equestrian plaids, schoolgirl knits and slightly tousled side ponytails. If Mary Tyler Moore was a young working girl now, she’s be outfitted in Donna Karan’s fall lineup of pleated mini skirts, brogue-style platforms, deco floral print day dresses and double-breasted jackets. Forget the beret though, she’d be sporting the new nubby poor boy cap.
