New York street style: Neutral party

You’ve probably heard: Neutral hues are in this fall. We like the way this streeter layers on the browns and creams, without grabbing the season’s neutral standby–the camel coat. (Not that we have any problem with those, mind.) The long skirt, booties and frilly socks have a Road to Avonlea vibe, but the cropped waistcoat is most certainly modern day.
