Olivier Rousteing Is The Star Of Balmain’s New Accessories Campaign
Dressing the Kardashians in ultra-sexy evening pieces was not enough for Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing. Now he wants K-crew, and just about everyone else, to rejoice in the Parisian house’s relaunched accessories collection. Come June, a new generation of fans will be introduced to bags and shoes from a brand that’s known for paper-thin waistlines and Dynasty-level shoulder pads (I predict there will be a stiletto in this collection).
A new video to promote the accessories collection hints at gold tones, but most interesting of all is that Rousteing appears front and centre in this video. And he looks as much a star as the crowd he runs with, which proves that the 31 year-old, attractive designer is blossoming beyond creative talent to become the modern face for this storied brand.
