Pressure To Boycott Ivanka Trump Clothing Line Continues
Nordstrom and Nieman Marcus were just two of the retailers who recently announced they would stop selling first daughter Ivanka Trump’s clothing line in their stores. But now a social media campaign has turned its attention on Canada’s largest, most iconic department store, The Hudson Bay and it is gaining momentum.
Apparently media and marketing specialist Shannon Coulter started the #grabyourwallet hash tag in the fall to encourage people not to buy Trump.
As of today, you can find the official, always-up-to-date #GrabYourWallet list over at https://t.co/2TQSA4DmH5 ? ? ?

Fast forward a couple of months and Nordstrom has stopped carrying the line citing poor sales, so the #baycott was born.
Hey @hudsonsbay – NOW it is a "Truly Canadian moment!" I can see the difference. Can you? #GrabYourWallet #cdnpoli #baycott pic.twitter.com/RnwebfX6AP

Well we’ll have to wait and see how this shakes out but suffice to say, plenty of people do not agree with this retail pressure at all.
Not all CDN's agree with the #baycott!! #RiseUp CDN's #BuyIvanka. Keep politics out of business. Cut up your @Nordstrom @hudsonsbay ?CC! pic.twitter.com/Wf2HNXLMyB
