Quotable: Washing your face with tap water is so last season

Though we’ve certainly dreamt of partaking in over-the-top beauty indulgences—like Cleopatra’s rumoured milk baths—it always seemed like more of a luxury than a legitimate change in regimen. However, we’ve just heard something that may sway us to consider a rather luxe method for face washing: French model Aymeline Valade confessed a preference for bottled water applied with a cotton ball. Considering that her cheekbones make us weak in the knees, we’re writing this one down:

“I wash my face a lot and the last step is always clear water—not from the tap, from the bottle. […] It’s the purest water I can find.”
