Say hello to Karl Lagerfeld’s Mon Shu Girl, the adorable mascot for his upcoming Shu Uemura collection
We’ve been fantasizing about Karl Lagerfeld’s forthcoming collection for Shu Uemura since we first reported on the collaboration last month, and now the recently unveiled Mon Shu Girl mascot is giving us even more reason to lust after the line.
In an adorable teaser video for the collaboration, an animated Kaiser Karl is inspired by Shu Uemura’s eyeshadows (his real-life art medium for illustrations) to create Mon Shu Girl, a Japanese-sleek-meets-European-chic mascot. Her bare, bob-flanked face is impeccably made up with Shu Uemura’s famously pigmented hues before she climbs atop a lipstick-rocket and takes off.
The holiday collection will be available in all of Shu Uemura’s 400 locations worldwide and online in November, just in time for Christmas!
