Okay ladies, now let’s get in formation, because Beyoncé just kicked off her highly anticipated Formation tour last night in Miami and it was nothing short of epic. Quelle surprise. While we didn’t get front row seats (or any seats for that matter) to her first show of the tour, we kept our eyes glued to our social media platforms to see the many, many photos posted by the Beyhive to catch a glimpse of what exactly went down opening night. Judging from the pics and videos, the show included a dance battle between fans, heartwarming tribute to her “beautiful husband” and a collection of jaw-dropping outfits.

Given that her music videos featured top-tiered designers like Gucci and Givenchy, there was obviously no shortage of luxe designers on when it comes to her stage outfits. Rather than the romantic looks in her videos, her stage outfits got the glitzy, dance-appropriate treatment (read: standout bodysuits). From her DSquared2 opening look to her Balmain army uniform, we counted more than half a dozen of wardrobe changes throughout her show. But then again, we expected nothing less from Queen B.

She opened the show with this epic outfit by DSquared2, which featured an elaborate Victorian-inspired black crystal embroidered bustier with velvet, puff shouldered embroidered sleeves, broad brim hat and lace embellished leather gloves.

Queen Bey’s backup dancers got the Gucci treatment too.

Suits up in an updated military-inspired bodysuit version.

Looking red hot in a head-to-toe leather outfit. Slay.
