Sephora is Partnering with the Museum of Ice Cream on a Super Sweet Makeup Collection
Fall is officially starting this Saturday, but Sephora‘s sweet makeup collaboration with the Museum of Ice Cream is the perfect reminder of summer days. Launching tomorrow, it’s just as cute as it sounds.
By now we’re sure you’ve heard of the MOIC. Punch one of the locations—there’s four in the United States—into Instagram and you’re immediately met with post after post of aesthetically pleasing photos. Ever wanted to swing in a room full of bananas? You can do that. How about posing with a life-size sculpture of a gummy bear? You can do that, too.
But why, you ask? For the gram, of course.
The MOIC has become the unofficial 000000 for avid selfie-takers. The art installations, the first of which debuted in Manhattan in 2016, have garnered a significant amount of hype. Everyone from the Knowles-Carters to the Kardashians has been photographed in the exhibits–the Sprinkle Pool is a definite crowd favourite.
The museum essentially sells itself; every photo is an advertisement and Sephora has decided to cash in on all of that sugary sweet publicity with everything from a rainbow sprinkle-filled brush set to popsicle-shaped lip stains.
But just like ice cream, these products won’t last forever. The collection launches today and will be available at Sephora both online and in-stores, as well as at The Pint Shop and at the Museum of Ice Cream’s San Francisco location.
