So fly: Jenny Bird brings cute accessories to Vancouver

Vancouverites hate when things in Toronto aren’t available here—especially when it comes to cute accessories. Thankfully, the eponymous collections of Toronto designer Jenny Bird (jenny-bird.com) are no longer one such thing. Since the brand’s launch at Holt Renfrew (737 Dunsmuir St., 604-681-3121, holtrenfrew.com) a few weeks ago, we’ve had our eye on Le Pouchette ($250), a cross-body pouch that promises to be our summer arm candy must-have (seriously, who has hands for a purse when there’s hot dog eating and arms-in-the-air dancing to be done?). With a unique opening that makes the bag look more diamond-shaped than square, the brand has been seen on such style- and tastemakers as Whitney Port and Gossip Girl’s Little J. My favourite is the studded black version, while the leopard print is exclusive to Holt Renfrew (but no, not just to Vancouver).
