SSENSE Is Now Selling Lifestyle Goods With ‘Everything Else’ Launch

Canadian luxury fashion platform SSENSE is entering the lifestyle goods space. You can now shop homeware, technology, activity, petwear and self-care brands, like Vintner’s Daughter, Joanna Vargas, Byredo, Bang & Olufsen and Tom Dixon, in its ‘Everything Else’ category. A significant component – 80 percent – of the Montreal-based retailer’s customers are Gen Z and millennials and the new product assortment reflects their preferences.

“With EVERYTHING ELSE, we’re intentionally rejecting conventional department and product categorizations,” says Krishna Nikhil, chief merchandising officer for SSENSE. “Our audience is more interested in exploring a curated but expansive world of products from established and emerging brands, extending beyond fashion into every aspect of their lifestyle.”

SSENSE will continue to update the brands in its Everything Else category, with products from Psychworld, Serapis and Ottolinger coming soon.

For those looking to shop local this season, gender-neutral products from Canadian brands like Toronto-based F.Miller (think luxe hair, face and body oils) and Vancouver-based aromatherapy brand Vitruvi (think artisanal essential oils and stone diffusers) are available to purchase now. For the pet owner in your life, you’ll be hard pressed to find chicer dog attire than the offerings from DSQUARED2, founded by Canadian twins Dan and Dean Caten. The vests have locally minded names, like the Quebec sweater, complete with a maple leaf, or the plaid Toronto vest.
