The Crazy Rich Asians premiere in Los Angeles last night was a lavish vision of Hollywood glamour as the cast of the long-awaited summer blockbuster walked the red – green for the occasion – carpet in dazzling statement gowns. A few members of the cast took this opportunity to showcase Asian fashion talents, such as Kris Aquino who selected a gown by young Filipino designer Michael Leyva or Constance Lau who sported a handmade piece by Time Taken to Make a Dress, a Singapore-based label. From fully beaded numbers to a stunning Beauty & The Beast-inspired yellow gown, the cast seemingly drew inspiration from their ‘crazy rich’ and very stylish characters…really setting the bar high for the movie’s fashion. August 15 can’t come fast enough!
