The Cutest New Celebrity Baby Trend Taking Over Instagram (and Who’s Doing It)

Adorable alert!

When a celebrity mom shares a photo of her little bundle of joy, the world tends to go, well, bonkers.

But lately there’s been a shift in the share.

While some famous mamas, like Janet Jackson and Tori Spelling, continue to serve up photos of their sweet little bunnies, others are forgoing faces in favour of feet.

Posing with a pair of pint-sized shoes may already be a popular way (in Hollywood and IRL) to announce a pregnancy on social media, but the cutest new trend is Mommy and Mini-me shoe shots.

Nicky Hilton has shared several different “shoefies” with her daughter Lila Grace. From matching Charlotte Olympia kitten flats to “fuzzy feet,” the 34-year-old heiress/designer (and younger sister of Paris Hilton) knows a thing or two about shoe shopping for two.

Kourtney Kardashian and daughter Penelope Disick doubled down on the double CC’s with their matching black and white Chanel espadrilles.

Before Beyoncé announced she was expecting twins with hubby Jay Z, she was posting sweet “shoefies” with daughter Blue Ivy. The pair posed in matching black Converse sneakers, and the Bey hive was suddenly buzzing.

Coco Austin, wife of rapper/actor Ice T, loves to post OTT “mommy and me” pics with her daughter Chanel. She recently shared a fun photo of their matching Nike trainers with the caption: “Nike #bobbseytwins. We never quit… I have a small foot and its funny to see a tiny foot.”

First-time mom Behati Prinsloo showed off her tootsies with baby girl Dusty Rose. The sweet photo taken at a pool highlights the duo’s cute matching anklets.

Even famous dads are catching on to the “baby shoefie” trend. Earlier this week, Pharrell Williams posted an adorable shot of three tiny pairs of custom Adidas NMD Human Race sneakers (he debuted his collab with the brand in 2016, but these are the first infant designs we’ve seen), presumably for his trio of sweeties. The multi-hyphenate talent and his wife Helen Lasichanh welcomed triplets (!!) this past January.
