The Duchess of Cambridge (and her baby bump) wears coral Tara Jarmon on her second wedding anniversary

It seems pregnancy has brought out the Duchess of Cambridge’s experimental side. We know Kate to be a favourer of tried and tested solid hues and silhouettes, yet in the last week, she’s gone rogue with mint green, polka dots and now coral. Must be something in the bath water.
Earlier today, Kate and her baby bump were out sharing her role as Royal Patron of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. In support of Children’s Hospice Week (which runs though May 3), the Duchess visited Naomi House, a hospice for children with life-limiting conditions. As usual, she was hit with all the Royal-adoring children in attendance. In addition to visiting the House’s grounds and joining in for a tea party with the children and their families, Kate released her first video message encouraging donations for and raising awareness of the cause.
Kate’s sunny visit was matched by that sunny coral look: a cotton overcoat by none other than Canada’s own Tara Jarmon! The Paris-based designer’s coat is a first for the Duchess, who regularly favours another Canadian-born designer, Erdem Moriaglou. What up, team Canada!
Underneath, the Duchess wore a shift dress in a slightly lighter tone of peach. To accessorize, Kate stayed in relatively known territory, sporting her L.K. Bennett taupe Sledge pumps and matching L.K. Bennett Avona clutch.
Also of note, today marks the second anniversary of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge! While we’ve been kvelling all day here at fashionmagazine.com HQ, we’ll leave the online toasting to the GIF experts.
