The First Three Products in the Fenty Skin Line Have Been Revealed
Earlier this month, Rihanna announced that she would be dropping her highly anticipated Fenty Skin line on July 31 – and now, the first three products from the brand extension have been revealed.
The products are described as “multi-tasking”, “easy-to-use” and “value-packed with skincare benefits” in the official press release, and are known together as the Fenty Skin Start’rs. The first step is the Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser which is both a cleanser and a makeup remover, followed by the Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum which works to reduce dark spots, refine pores, even skin tone and fight shine in a gentle formula, and the Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen, a refillable moisturizer/suncare hybrid that simultaneously protects the skin whilst brightening it and reducing the appearance of pores. Ingredients used in the products include hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, Kalahari melon, Barbados cherry, Australian lemon myrtle and witch hazel water, cactus flower and fig. Plus, the formulas are oil-free, gluten-free and vegan and the products are all housed in eco-friendly packaging.
“These three products comprise Rihanna’s real-life routine for getting healthy, glowing skin in just a few simple steps,” according to the release. The line has been in the works for several years and has been designed to complement the cosmetics in the Fenty Beauty range. And just as with their makeup counterparts, the Fenty Skin products are made for all skin types and tones.
Rihanna drew upon her own experiences with skincare as a teen to create the line, noting an experience using a product which discoloured her skin which left her scared to try anything else for a long time afterwards. “Fenty Skin is everything I wish I had back then,” Rihanna says in the release. “I wanted it to feel approachable, easy and to take the pressure off choosing a routine, so I created one for everyone.”
Fenty Skin officially launches on July 31, but you can still sign up for early access from July 29 here.
