Elegant marbling is exactly the kind of thing one looks for when selecting a prime cut of steak, but it might not be the most desirable element when it comes to selecting a new pair of sneakers.
Unfortunately, Nike found that out the hard way when almost immediately after the announcement of their new Velour Dusty Peach Air Max Plus sneakers. With its velour panelling and exceptionally millennial-friendly pastel colour scheme, the sneaker has an undoubtedly fashion edge. However, it also happens to bear an uncanny resemblance to prosciutto, strips of bacon, and salmon sashimi, according to the denizens of Twitter.
