Between Pokemon Go and last week’s Comic-Con International, it seems like we’re all letting our inner nerd flags fly. But really, you don’t have to be a superhero fan to get caught up in all this frenzy, especially when the buzziest comic expo is also the time and place to announce the most anticipated Blockbusters (Star Trek, Suicide Squad, Guardians of the Galaxy – to name a few). And where there are superhero film panel talks, there are the biggest industry stars (and their top-notch looks) in attendance.
While the actors kept it pretty casual on the red carpet, the leading ladies stole the spotlight in the wardrobe department (#obv). Given that this year’s theme seemed to revolve around girl power (here’s proof), from the Wonder Woman trailer to the announcement of Captain Marvel, an empowering outfit was the go-to look. Cases in point: Gal Gadot and Cara Delevingne. While our former cover girl Gadot rocked a pair of striking pants, Delevingne (with her new lob) pulled out not one, but two stellar pant-focused outfits, which included an edgy DSquared2 blazer and camo pants combo. But probably the best surprise came at the end of the Marvel panel talk, when Brie Larson (aka Captain Marvel) stepped out in a green Gabriela Hearst jumpsuit that just screamed superhero(ine).
Speaking of girl power, Céline Dion is continuously slaying the best-dressed charts. But her latest look may be our fave (well, a close second to that Titanic moment), since the Canadian diva repped her home country in a sparkly Mikael D cocktail dress at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
