The weekend in celebrity style: See who made our best dressed list
This past weekend there was no shortage of great celebrity style as our favourite stars attended the iHeart Radio music festival in Las Vegas. Before performing her hit song Shake it Off, Taylor Swift worked a Calvin Klein crop top and fire engine-red mini skirt on the red carpet with her signature red lip. Also at the event was Sophia Bush who wore a mesh midi-length Monique Lhuillier dress, as well as Iggy Azalea, who sang Black Widow and wore a fitted geometric dress. Another honourable outfit mention at the festival included Pretty Little Liars actress Janel Parrish who wore a bubblegum pink mini dress with sky-high yellow heels.
A series of other events took place this weekend such as the #TGIT premiere event hosted by Twitter, where Scandal star and new mother Kerry Washington looked flawless wearing a metallic Mary Katrantzou dress. Reese Witherspoon was back on the red carpet for the Nashville premiere of The Good Lie, wearing a floral Christian Dior mini dress, while Jessica Chastain looked elegant at the screening of Salomé & Wilde Salomé wearing a daring deep-cut yellow Erdem dress.
A round of applause must also be given to Emma Watson who delivered a game-changing speech on feminism at the UN Women’s HeForShe event in New York City on Saturday, wearing a classic black midi-length dress by BOSS on the red carpet. Other celebrities rocking a monochromatic palette included Elle Fanning, at the premiere of her latest animated movie The Boxtrolls, who wore a black peplum top and pants with her freshly coloured brunette locks, as well as Bella Thorne who looked breathtaking in a sultry Emilio Pucci dress at the amFAR Milano 2014 Gala.
