Tom Hardy Reading a Bedtime Story Will Make You Melt (Seriously)

Can Tom Hardy read to us every night? Swoon.

Following his New Year’s Eve Bedtime Stories segment, the Taboo star made a return visit to BBC’s CBeebies for Valentine’s Day to recite another a story: The Cloudspotter by Tom McLaughlin. Joining him, of course, was his dog Woody.

In the trailer, Hardy is seen sitting on a balcony donning a red jacket and a pair of binoculars, accompanied by adorable stuffed animals and Woody at his feet.

“Hi, I’m Tom. I’m just doing some cloud-spotting,” the actor says. “If you look very carefully, you can see lots of clouds in the sky.”

He looks at Woody. “Cloud spotting is definitely more enjoyable, especially if your best friend is a dog.”

“And I’ve spotted you’re not in bed yet. Get yourself tucked up and I’ll see you very soon for another Bedtime Story.”

Ugh! Despite frequently playing antagonists in film (Bane in The Dark Night Rises, Jon Fitzgerald in The Revenant), his Bedtime Stories appearances reveal a softer side to him.

Naturally, everyone watching at home freaked out, taking to Twitter to voice their excitement.

And we agree with every single one of these reactions. Please hold us, Tom Hardy!
