TOMS teams up with fashion designer Prabal Gurung for its latest collection
Here’s your daily dose of feel-good fashion news.
Nepal native and New York-based designer Prabal Gurung has teamed up with TOMS to design a collection of shoes that give back in a big way. On top of their buy one, give one credo, TOMS is vowing to donate an additional $5 of every purchase from the special fashion collaboration to the Shikshya Foundation Nepal, a cause close to Gurung’s heart. The charity’s main mission is to provide education and aid relief efforts to underprivileged children affected by the devastating earthquake in 2015.
Traveling to Nepal in April of this year, Gurung worked with the team at TOMS to design a red, white and black Fair Isle print reminiscent of the fabrics and textiles they sourced on the trip and emblazoned it across their classic slip on style. A laced suede boot with cream faux-fur trim is perfect for the chilly weather ahead and also happens to look way more expensive than the $150 price tag.
Making a difference and giving back is as easy as shopping the collection below.
