Vancouver shop notes: Fort Worth

I didn’t think Gastown could house any more cool stores, but, lo and behold, Oak + Fort (32 Water St., 604-566-9199, oakandfort.com) has opened up.

In addition to cool Korean labels, there’s an eponymous house label of women’s pieces (men’s will come this spring) designed by local and international artists in collaboration with creative director Eunice Quan. The result: a mishmash of renditions on a singular concept—though all are contemporary and refined. Prices range from $30 for a scarf or tee to $250 for a jacket, but there are also dresses, pants, tanks and jewellery. Psst: A second Oak + Fort will be opening in Edmonton this spring.
