Vancouver shop notes: On watch

Omega

Judging from the continued rise of lowered hemlines, ladylike dressing still has legs. Arms too, thanks to the revival of the Omega Ladymatic line (from $6,500).

Twenty-eight new designs bear the name first launched in 1955, available exclusively in Canada at the watchmaker’s Vancouver boutique (The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, 900 West Georgia St., 604-681-8266, omegawatches.com) through the summer. Feminine but not fragile, the timepieces feature an inset ceramic ring that peeks through a curving circumference.
