Versace and Jimmy Choo set to open at Yorkdale this fall
Get excited, luxury shoppers! Yesterday, Yorkdale Shopping Centre announced it will be opening 10 new boutiques early this fall including designer brands Versace and Jimmy Choo. With both labels launching their first stand-alone shops in Canada, these openings are a sign of what’s to come for the influx of international stores to Canada’s fashionscape.
Also joining the fashion house, and accessories and shoe powerhouse, Yorkdale will be welcoming retailers including the down jacket dynamo, Moncler, and Nine West’s co-founder, Vince Camuto’s first Canadian store. Bulgari, Mont Blanc, Forever 21, Garage, Justice, and Lush are also set to open in just a few months.
If you haven’t heard already, Yorkdale will be undergoing a 300,000 (yep, that’s right) square-foot expansion, introducing Nordstrom and 25 smaller-scale stores, set to open fall 2016—someone get us a time machine, pronto! “Yorkdale is a premier shopping destination because our new and existing retailers deliver an impressive range of fashion,” says Yorkdale’s general manager, Claire Santamaria. “Construction of our expansion is on track and we’re building momentum by welcoming brands that will inspire shoppers from head to toe.” Well Yorkdale, we’re ready to be inspired.
