No matter how many present-day examples people see of blue eyeshadow being pulled off in a totally chic way—see here, here and here—it still manages to maintain its reputation as one of the most intimidating makeup looks. We blame it on, what else, the ’80s.
That being said, we’re determined to rid blue shadow of its tacky associations. So we teamed up with makeup artist Liraz Jacoby to demo the easiest, chicest, least scary way to pull off the look.
