What Ryan Reynolds Has to Say About Blake Lively Will Give You all the Feels
While attending the 2017 Met Gala on Monday night, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds snuck in a quick interview with “Humans of New York,” the Instagram account that recounts moving, emotional and sometimes funny stories of people in the Big Apple.
The photo, which was captured by Brandon Stanton, is (of course) adorable, but what is really giving us all the ~feels~ is what Reynolds had to say about his wife.
“She always responds with empathy. She meets anger with empathy. She meets hate with empathy,” the Canadian actor said of Lively. “She’ll take the time to imagine what happened to a person when they were five or six years old. And she’s made me a more empathetic person. I had a very fractured relationship with my father. Before he died, she made me remember things I didn’t want to remember. She made me remember the good times.”
We’re not crying, you are.
But the duo likes to keep it light, too. Just last week, Lively hilariously trolled her hubby à la Chrissy Teigen after the 2017 TIME 100 Gala, which honoured Time‘s 100 Most Influential People of the year, including Reynolds and Teigen’s husband, John Legend.
“Congratulations to the most influential person in my life. The best man I know… you deserve this @time 100 honor … If only my husband wasn’t blocking you in this shot. I’m so sorry @johnlegend,” Blake wrote on Instagram.
Too. Cute.
Now BRB while we continue crying forever.
