Attention Degrassi fans! We’ve got an alum for today’s edition of What’s in Your Bag, and as it so happens, she’s super chic to boot. Stacey Farber has come a long way since her Ellie Nash days, dabbling in both fashion and film since departing the show in 2008. Nowadays, she’s starring on CTV’s hit show Saving Hope as OB/GYN Sydney Katz (it airs Wednesdays at 10p.m. EST). We snooped her bag when she was in Toronto last month only to find that every single item inside was like… the best.

“I bought the bag very recently, even though I resisted the backpack trend for the whole time it’s been happening. I decided I wanted a black one with minimal hardware and I saw this at American Apparel and now I am obsessed with it. I understand why the trend is a trend, because it’s practical. It makes so much sense, and I was just being stubborn. I really like that I can fit my laptop in that bag, that’s what I got it for I guess.”

“The watch is a friendship watch. It’s with a friend of mine in L.A. because we saw it together. It doesn’t actually tell the time, it just says the time is now. It keeps me present, and late often.”
“The Polaroid is of my grandmother, she passed away in April. She was a very good friend of mine and she wanted to be an actress when she was younger, and she did radio work actually, so I like to keep that with me to think of her, which I always do.”
“The lip balm is from Soho House in New York, that’s a good one. The lipstick is Cle de Peau, I love the case. And the Givenchy shadow is a creamy eye shadow that you can put on with your finger, and it’s super easy so it takes like three seconds, and I never mess it up.”
“The camera I found in a flee market, it’s a 5mm camera, it’s really old, it’s Japanese, but I like the pictures that it takes because they’re kind of random. That’s black and white film because I prefer to shoot in black and white.”

“The perfume is dead stock patchouli from Le Labo, they’ve since changed the way they make it. So it’s lighter now, and I think it smells different. This is the original darker yellow. I bought this bottle and it’s now no longer available.”
“The hand sanitizer smells like lavender, it’s a good one. It’s easy spray, not like the goopy stuff. It’s Dr. Bronner’s Magic and I got it at Whole Foods.”
“The spray is Entertainer’s Secret throat relief for dry and hoarse voices. It’s very effective.”

“The clutch is from my grandmother and I read a lot and those are two of my favorite books. I usually have a book on me, especially in my handy backpack that I’m such a fan of.”
“This badge is my doctor’s badge from Saving Hope, Doctor Katz has it on her right coat all the time and I took it when we wrapped as a souvenir from the season.”
“The little tin is full of gummies that voice over artists use in the industry because it coats your throat and it makes you sound good for the mic. So I’ve just started doing voiceover work. Drake eats these too!”
