ZAYN’s New Song Has its Own Mini-Action Movie
Mysterious brief case? Check. High speed car chase? Check. Badass/moody/super-hot anti-hero? Definitely check.
ZAYN, your favourite ex-1D member and catwalk BF, has released the first song off his upcoming sophomore album. The 24-year-old solo artist gifted us a hit single with a superstar songstress — AND (surprise!) he delivered it with an action packed, 5-minute mini-movie.
The song, “Dusk Till Dawn,” was co-written with Sia and features the wigged diva sensually harmonizing with ZAYN on the chorus: “Light it up/ On the run/ Let’s make love tonight.” The video for the single takes the lyrics quite literally: ZAYN teams up with Girls star Jemima Kirke to play the Bonnie to his Clyde. They start a fire, they drive away, and (we assume) they’re celebrating as the credits roll.
The music video was directed by Marc Webb—the filmmaker behind The Amazing Spider-Man, 500 Days of Summer—so you know it’s big-screen worthy. Watch the video below, and let us know if you think ZAYN could be up for an Oscar VMA.
