The L.A. look: Peep the 5 stunning outfits Kate donned this weekend
Tinseltown inducted its newest stars this weekend, as Will and Kate graced the city for a hot 72 hours. The couple made appearances at several events, including the BAFTA Brits to Watch gala, where they schmoozed with the likes of Nicole Kidman, J-Lo, and Jennifer Garner; a charity polo match that Will won (and that he was rewarded for with a kiss!); and an inner-city arts class, where they painted pretty pictures. It seems as if Kate pulled out all the stops for the short visit and with good reason: in the town where red carpets are whipped out as frequently as cellphones, a star on the ups has got to shine. We daresay she outshone all of the others. By a long-shot.

Royal watch day 9, part 2: Kate bids adieu to Canada in one last Catherine Walker beauty
Follow our ongoing coverage of the Royal visit! »
Out of their cowboy garb, Will and Kate were back into their respective regal wardrobes for one last trip, to the Calgary Zoo and then on to say farewell to the country at the city’s Challenger Rotary. As the 2011 Royal Tour comes to a close, we’re anticipating going through some major Kate withdrawal. If we had to say goodbye to the royal rock stars in any way though, we’re happy to have done it with one last beauty: a scarlet Catherine Walker button down suit dress with pleated full skirt accessorized with the Queen’s diamond maple leaf brooch.
Are you as sad as we are to see the Royals go? Vote after the jump!

Royal watch day 8 and 9: Kate’s back-to-back Stampede cowgirl outfits have got us shopping for spurs. Get the look!

Boy, have Will and Kate ever gotten into the Stampede spirit in Calgary! At last night’s kick-off and then again this morning at the official parade, the couple’s donned authentic cowboy outfits, no doubt thrilling the crowd again and again. Last night, after initially declining to don the white hats that they received in the traditional “white-hatting” ceremony at the airport, the couple surrendered, emerging in adorable matching Western outfits: Will, in a green-and-black plaid button-down and jeans and Kate in a rodeo-style Alice by Temperley top, bootcut J Brand jeans, an oversized-buckle belt, and custom-made cowboy boots from the Alberta Boot Company. Today, Will showed up in the same exact outfit, and Kate looks to have just changed her top into a similar style from Temperley London! Small luggage, we suppose?
Stepping out of her comfort zone to please the crowd, Kate’s cowgirl get-ups are by FAR two of our favourite outfits of the trip. So, how do we show our love? By shopping for the look, naturally!

Royal watch day 8: Kate wows in a buttery silk Jenny Packham dress
Follow our ongoing coverage of the Royal visit! »
After some long and Kate-less hours on Wednesday and Thursday, the Duchess was back last night in Calgary to thrill with not one but TWO wham-bam outfits. Off the plane in this stunning ultra-feminine buttery silk crepe Jenny Packham dress and LK Bennett nude heels, Kate greeted one of her littlest fans: 6-year-old Diamond Marshall, a child fighting stage 4 cancer. Diamond’s dream had been to meet the “princess,” and we’re sure that Kate looked every bit as special as she had imagined.
Up next, we’re hunting the best Western looks to emulate Kate’s second look of the night: the Stampede cowgirl! Yeehaw!

Royal watch day 7: Will and Kate had a day off yesterday, and we know where they spent it!
Follow our ongoing coverage of the Royal visit! »
Any avid royal watcher would have surely noticed an absence on the Will and Kate front yesterday. The lovebirds had a day off, okay? After setting off from the Northwest Territories late Tuesday, the couple is rumoured to have travelled to picturesque Lake Louise, Alberta, for what must have been the shortest lodge-cation in history. A look around the Skoki Lodge yesterday showed a RCMP helicopter and a military helicopter parked around the hotel, so we’re thinking it’s pretty clear that the couple was there. So, what were the lovebirds doing? Perhaps engaging in some old-fashioned pillow talk (like Doris Day and Rock Hudson in the film of the same name, but sans misguided identities)? According to the lodge’s website, guests can look forward to picturesque views of the area, buffets including freshly baked bread, and… outhouses. So utterly royal.

Follow our ongoing coverage of the Royal visit! »
As well as her killer style sense, of course, a big factor in the appeal of Kate Middleton (ahem, the Duchess of Cambridge) is her no-fuss approach to beauty. With glowing skin and a warm, neutral palette that seems to fit every occasion, she manages to come across as the girl next door, but a royal one at that.
With the help of Rimmel makeup artist Vanessa Jarman, who has worked on celeb royalty like Lady Gaga and Yasmine Warsame, we bring you this step-by-step beauty how-to for getting Kate’s look. Building on one initial technique for daytime, we’ll teach you how to adapt her fresh-faced look for dinnertime and night-time!

Royal watch day 6: And the award for the most fabulously out of place goes to…! Think Kate would ever don a Team Canada hockey jersey?
Follow our ongoing coverage of the Royal visit! »
If there is one photo that will sum up the Royals’ visit to Canada, we’re thinking this might be it: Kate in all her sold-out Malene Birger linen fabulousness getting down and dirty for some good ol’ Canadian hockey with kids in the Northwest Territories—it doesn’t get more South Park–able than that. After a quick round of street hockey (Will scored a grand total of 0/3 goals), the couple were presented with their very own jerseys, with the name “Cambridge” on the back, as well as two hockey sticks. Naturally. Think Kate will ever don the jersey? We highly doubt it. What do you think? Vote after the jump!

FASHION plates: Get Kate’s sailor inspired look!
By Randi Bergman and Jordan Porter
We’ve made it pretty clear that we’re all about Kate this week, right? Right? We’re especially into her sailor-inspired Alexander McQueen dress worn yesterday in Prince Edward Island, so much so that we’ve gone shopping in the name of the future Queen. God save her and her style sense, really. Ahoy mate!

Royal watch day 5, part 2: Kate makes a classic trench look so… classic! Need your own? Get one now!

Kate was one busy bee yesterday in Prince Edward Island, shuffling between meet and greets, watching her man learn to land a plane on water and even dragon boat racing against him! (Will won, but her—and our—consolation prize was some very public hugging). Put that busy bee in rather windy weather and what do you get? A busy bee in the chicest looking basic navy trench we’ve ever seen. It’s been reported that Kate’s owned the same jacket for at least three years so that’s going to leave us in a bit of a predicament: shopping for a replica!
Check out our five Kate-inspired not-so-basic trenches now! »

During their whirlwind tour of Prince Edward Island, Kate and Will have been spending a lot of time by the sea. Kate’s clearly dressed for the occasion in her adorable crème and navy Alexander McQueen cable-knit sailor dress. Could there have been a more perfect look? We think not. What do you think? Royal watch day 4, part 2: Get Kate’s light and airy Prince Edward Island look!

Kate was light and airy as she arrived in Prince Edward Island yesterday, in a dress and matching blush tweed blazer from British label Joseph. Word on the street is that the dress sold out as soon as she flashed across the screen, so what does that mean for us? Let’s hit the online shops to get a similar look!
