Kate Middleton may wear many vibrant colours (bright blue being at the top of that list) but we’re quite fond of her other favourite go-to: dove grey. Today she wore two different dresses in shades of grey while out exploring the Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park, home of the awe-inspiring Uluru/Ayer’s Rock. While the Duke of Cambridge spent the day in an all-khaki ensemble (fitting for a very hot day spent in the desert) Kate started the day in a custom Roksanda Ilincic dress. The sleeveless, asymmetrical dress is similar to the one Kate wore upon arrivial in Los Angeles in 2011, but less formal in both fabrication and silhouette—making it ideal for an afternoon spent at the National Indigenous Training Academy, watching your husband learn how to handle a two meter long traditional hunting spear.

So much happened in Australia this weekend! When we last saw them on Thursday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George had just arrived on the continent and the royal trio certainly had a busy Easter weekend. First up, the couple visited the Royal Easter Show in Sydney, where Kate Middleton joked about Prince William using some just-shorn alpaca fur as a toupee—and thus causing a thousand royal reporters around the globe to burst out laughing. The afternoon was spent on the beach, where’s Kate’s wardrobe choice for the day—a cream lace eyelet dress by Zimmermann and Stuart Weitzman wedge sandals—didn’t miss a beat. Royals, they’re just like us! Or so the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge would like us to think, after they surprised London commuters earlier today by taking a double decker bus to a royal engagement inside a tube station. Will and Kate were part of a tour to visit Poppy Day ambassadors—military personnel and volunteers who sell Remembrance Day poppy pins—and their unannounced arrival in the London subway system certainly brightened the day of lucky passersby.

While the official Remembrance Day ceremony is slated for this Sunday, Will and Kate were both already wearing their poppy pins. (Which, actually is just like us!) As for her other sartorial choices, Kate matched the pins with a poppy-red coat by LK Bennett, last seen in November 2011.

Celebrations for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee came full circle today with a ceremony at Westminster Abbey to mark the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s coronation. It was the first time that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge returned to the Abbey since their wedding and, given the significance of today’s ceremony, the entire royal family was in attendance. We’re not going to lie: we were really hoping to see the royals dressed in traditional ermine robes and elaborate jewellery. (That Diamond Diadem crown deserves to be worn!) However, given that it’s 2013 and not 1953, the wardrobe choices were much more modern.

At the top of the best dressed list was, of course, the Duchess of Cambridge, who wore a pale-pink bespoke Jenny Packham coat and dress. Today’s appearance may just be the first time that Kate Middleton’s baby bump has been totally visible from front-on—though the empire waistline certainly helped to emphasize it.

As Grey Cup mania hit Canada this weekend, Kate Middleton was indulging in a little field-side action herself, watching a rugby game between Wales and New Zealand in Cardiff, Wales alongside Prince William who is patron of the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust. Pre-game, the couple met with former players injured during their careers, who are supported by the trust.

For the outdoor event, the Duchess of Cambridge wore her red LK Bennett Ami coat—the same worn last November on a UNISEF visit to Denmark (to find out more about that cause, visit unicef.org), but this time worn with its original belt. To match the coat, the Duchess wore a previously unseen red Gucci Monogram canvas shoulder bag, black Aquatalia knee high boots and gold leaf drop earrings designed by Catherine Zoraida, which she wore during her recent Jubilee Tour to Southeast Asia.

Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Diamond Jubilee tour of Southeast Asia may have officially ended, but there are two final outfits to report on! This morning the royal couple departed from Tuvalu in almost the same manner as they arrived: wearing ceremonial headdresses and being carried on thrones through crowds of dancing onlookers. Kate was wearing a floral-print shirt dress by Project D London that had her usual silhouette: short sleeves, nipped-in waist and pleated skirt. The dress was clearly a specific choice for that day, as Kate was still wearing it when she and Will landed in Brisbane for a stopover—one of Project D London’s designers is Australia native Dannii Minogue. However, before settling in for the long flight back to England Kate Middleton made quick airport change.

Since we last checked in with Kate Middleton and Prince William, they’ve travelled deeper and deeper into the South Pacific and, as such, are dressing the part. Don’t believe us? On Friday Kate was wearing a long-sleeve dress and a head scarf while walking in stockings through a mosque—today the Duchess is barefoot and wearing traditional beaded necklaces on a remote topical island. But! Let’s not get ahead of ourselves! On Saturday morning the couple visited Malaysia’s Danum Valley Conservation Area and explored the rainforest. (Are we the only ones who are reminded of an exhibit in the Natural History Museum when looking at the photos?)
