Feast your eyes on 32 covetable pieces from Biko’s fall collection
August 29th marks the release date for Biko’s FW2012 collection, but we’ve got the scoop and the snaps on the Toronto label’s latest offering, Lasso the Moon. The 50-piece collection draws on rare and unique vintage curiosities and findings, delivering a whimsical collection that features arrowheads, pyramids and chainmail made of oxidized brass, shiny gunmetal and pyrite silvers. We’re particularly fond of designer Corrine Anestopoulos’ luxurious take on the friendship bracelet—hers are woven with silk chiffon—and we love the mix of materials, which gives the jewelry a Pocahontas meets Joan of Arc super heroine vibe.

This just in: Check out our top 10 picks from Biko’s covet-worthy spring collection!
Toronto-based jewellery designer Corrine Anestopoulos has just launched the latest installment of her covet-worthy Biko pieces for Spring 2012, and lets just say we’re all over it. The collection, entitled A Light Odyssey Into Tomorrow, is chock full of on-trend super brights—think African glass snake beads mixed with rainbow Japanese twine—and enough crystals to keep your chakras permanently in line. Too soon to plan a spring shopping spree? The Sekani necklace would look ideal over a Jason Wu for Target striped shift. Don’t tell mom, but the whole collection is available as of today at ilovebiko.com. Now get shopping!

Style studio: Our tips, tricks and picks for perfecting the asymmetrical look
The fashion team has a new boyfriend; his name is Haider Ackermann. He wraps us up in his luxurious long layers of twisted silk and toughens us up with bits of leather, cinched in just the right spots to hide all our little imperfections while achieving the ultimate cool girl vibe. This is one of the biggest trends we are itching to sport for fall, and with the flood of cropped sweaters, diagonal cut separates and floor-grazing maxi skirts arriving in stores, we’ll be strategically layering our way to it-girl status all season long.
