Braided hairstyles of all complexities have reigned supreme on the runways and red carpets for what seems like forever. Childhood memories aside, the current iteration of braids started around Spring 2010 (thanks Alexander Wang and Oscar de la Renta, to name a few) and the style has continued to grow season after season. This ongoing trend has cued the arrival of braid bars—a special salon that has perfected the art of braiding—in New York and Los Angeles, and now they’re coming to Toronto.

Marc Anthony Salons in Toronto just announced that they will now offer a special braid menu to customers. The styles range from a basic French braid band to more complex plaits such as fishtails, waterfalls and a fully braided halo updo. Meaning, for those without the dexterity or patience to attempt DIY braiding, on-trend holiday party hair just got a whole lot easier. And affordable: Braid bar prices start at $20.
