Whether on the red carpet or the street, you can’t go wrong wearing black. This week it looks like celebrities everywhere proved just that. Continuing her best-dressed streak, Nicola Peltz looked babely as ever in a hot leather two-piece ensemble for the Rio de Janeiro premiere of the latest Transformers installment. While the young actress is no stranger to showing some skin lately, we were pleasantly surprised to see Kate Hudson join in on the trend. The actress attended a New York screening going borderline Goth wearing a black strapless gown (cut-outs and all), sleek-straight hair and deep plum lips, which hit the midriff-showing look out of the park.

The 2014 ESPY Awards (the Oscars of the sports world) took place this past Wednesday, where top celebrities sat side by side with the top athletes. And did we mention, Drake had the honour of hosting the event? Yep. While all eyes were on the superstar athletes, we were completely occupied by the standout outfits over on the red carpet.
