The Most Stylish Films of 2018
Last year, the fashionable film that people couldn’t stop raving about was Phantom Thread. Makes sense, given that the film is literally about a fashion designer. There are sumptuous silks aplenty, not to mention antique lace, tailored skirt suits and too many elaborate gowns to count. This year, though, the Most Stylish Film mantle could […]

Neve Campbell on Working With 3 of #MeToo’s Biggest Villains
A few years ago, Neve Campbell found herself in a cemetery. She wasn’t alone. She was there for a very special gathering. All around her, the people were dressed like witches—albeit ones with a very specific aesthetic: short black skirts, thigh-high stockings, chunky boots and a preponderance of either leather jackets or baby-Ts (or both). But for Tinseltown bigwigs, it’s a convenient scapegoat for failing box-office returns. They can criticize websites like Rotten Tomatoes for sabotaging a film’s chances when it assigns the flick a binary Fresh/Not Fresh […]

The silent film trend continues! Watch Karl Lagerfeld’s new short film starring Alice Dellal
Just like The Artist but without the dog (and no cameo from Choupette?!) this new silent Chanel short film has us totally enraptured. The mini-film—starring Chanel muse Alice Dellal and shot by Karl Lagerfeld—features the punk darling napping on a vintage settee, writing a letter by lamplight (beautiful but nightmare-worthy, no?), and searching for her beloved Boy bag. And do our eyes play tricks or are those alien-print Louis chairs? We love the video, the bags, the clothes, and the music. And if the hair is any indication, the messy dreadlocked style we saw during Pre-Fall will be sticking around for another season.

Watch the trailers »
Vote for your favourite »Not one but two Snow White–inspired films are coming out in 2012, sparking a battle over which will be the fairest.
