Baby, it’s cold outside. And we mean really cold. Not that scenic kind of “snow globe” cold, where everyone goes ice-skating wearing cable knit sweaters and sips gaily on hot chocolate, like in the Old Navy commercials. Rather, it’s that kind of cold where people curse under their breath when they first step outside, and take a cab to otherwise walkable destinations, spiking their hot chocolates on the sly as a means to survive the day.
Sadly, this kind of cold causes many of us to abandon all concepts style. “Oh? You don’t like this oversized puffer?” In that same vein, a fashion-friend tweeted this week that he was “disregarding trends, [and] embracing turtlenecks.”
