Vuitton’s costume jeweller headed to Dior
Louis Vuitton Fall 2009. Photography by Peter Stigter Christian Dior has named Camille Miceli as artistic director of costume jewellery and an adviser on a selection of leather works. With not-so-humble beginnings as an intern at Chanel and Azzedine Alaïa, Miceli’s fashion career began at the ripe old age of 15. She has been working with Louis Vuitton since 1997, when she started in the public relations department. Working under the guidance of Marc Jacobs, Miceli began creating costume jewellery collections for the brand for its Spring 2004 showing.
