Yes, exercise is good for your health, creates endorphins that make you feel chipper, etc. etc. etc. But for some of us (myself included), exercising also presents the enticing opportunity to source and wear an additional category of cute clothing. Scrolling through e-comm sites and filling virtual cars with leggings and sports bras I may, […]

Why You Should Set Intentions Instead of New Year’s Resolutions
When it comes to ringing in the New Year, it’s hard not to get a little carried away with the resolution making (and let’s not even talk about the effects of champagne on goal setting). Fashion Resolutions: 10 Style Panel members share their wardrobe goals for 2014
January is synonymous with a few things – chilly temperatures, post-holiday fatigue, but above all, resolutions. While the ambitious among us are religiously hitting the gym, eschewing booze all together, ridding the cupboards of sugar, or other extreme goals, we like to think of the New Year as a chance for a simple style switch-up. Who better to offer up their realistic resolutions than our Style Panel? This week our panellists are joined by a new (male!) face and offer up their personal goals for the year.
Our group of Style Panel bloggers have some great goals for the year. Christopher Wolf, from wolfmusings.com, and Becky Kung, the girl behind Velvet & Vino, are both hoping to let their intuition run wild and take more risks. While Kayla Short, of Short Presents, is tackling her disaster of a closet (her words!) on the East Coast, Whitney Cosgrave of See Shop Eat Do is out soaking up the L.A. sun, and committing to wearing her favourite pieces more often. Take a peek at their resolutions and maybe you too will feel inspired to make some changes.
Question 85: What are your fashion resolutions? Whether you’re vowing off tights or trying to incorporate more colour this year, share it with us! Read the answers now! »

It’s less than two weeks into 2013 and we bet many of you have already wavered on your New Year’s Resolutions. We get it. They’re hard, they usually offer no immediate gratification and they’re just not fun. Health-related resolutions mostly lead to drastic short-term changes (like spending January drinking only maple water or working out eight times a week) that leave you burnt out and resenting anything that vaguely promises to be good for you until next December rolls around. But baby changes can make a really big difference when they’re followed for the whole year. Here are a few mini resolutions that are making my life a bit healthier in 2013.
