Crystal Renn “shocked” by those skinny images of herself
Crystal Renn’s curves have been the subject of much praise lately for diversifying the model landscape. So imagine everyone’s surprise (not to mention her own) when those admired curves appeared to be missing. In a recent batch of photos of Renn posing in Fashion for Passion‘s latest tees, the model appears to be a few sizes smaller, creating an outburst in the blogosphere and causing her agent to immediately assert that she is still “a solid size ten.” Renn herself has just commented on the images in a recent interview:

Have you ever imagined Anna Wintour sitting on the toilet flipping through porn? Neither have we. Artist aleXsandro Palombo’s did, however, with his new collection of graphic drawings, Toilet Chic, featuring various members of the fashion elite sitting on the can. [Refinery 29]

Fashion news: London looters, Erin Fetherston goes to Juicy Couture and Kelly Cutrone Takes to YouTube
Kell on Earth hasn’t even hit Canada yet, but we’ll be lucky to get the first season, because plans for a second seem to be lagging. Kelly Cutrone, clearly not waiting around, has instead set up a YouTube channel, KellyCutroneTV, where you can get “daily missives” from the People’s Revolution team. [Styleite] Read our interview with Kelly Cutrone.
There has been a string of burglaries hitting London’s high end shops, and last night Chanel was the target (clearly the burglers have good taste). Over the past two years other retail stores including Dolce & Gabbana, Harvey Nichols, Anya Hindmarch and Salvatore Ferragamo have been robbed, but police haven’t confirmed yet if it’s the same high-end hitters that keep looting the shops. Fashion news: Lohan accused of ripping off designers, the Obamas are unwitting models and Karl shoots for V’s size issue
Some of the items in Lindsay Lohan’s 6126 clothing line look rather familiar to a couple of designers. Black Milk Clothing’s James Lillis and designer Jen Kao both say Lohan copied their designs. The company disputes this, naturally. [WWD]
But wait! It is apparently LiLo who’s had her designs lifted. [Stylecaster]
A NY Times report surfaced yesterday that H&M in New York’s Herald Square had been mutilating and dumping unsold clothing. H&M responded, saying “We are committed 100 percent to make sure this practice is not happening anywhere else, as it is not our standard practice.” It’s worth noting that H&M is listed as a donor to Windfall, a Canadian new clothing bank. Fashion news: Crystal Renn outposes in V, McQueen shoes are even scary for models, a B.O. fragrance and more
Shots from V‘s upcoming and already over-hyped “plus-size issue” are out. Terry Richardson’s “One Size Fits All” features side-by-side shots of Jacquelyn Jablonski and a not-really-plus-sized Crystal Renn in the same pose in the same outfit. It’s worth noting that Renn out-vogues Jablonski at every turn. [Models.com, via Fashionista]
Fashion stylist is apparently the when-I-grow-up job of the aughts. Except for celebrity stylist, which according to 10 editor Sophia Neophitou is “something you just don’t want to become.” Take that, Zoe-ophytes. [Times UK]
