Celeb poll: Vote for your favourite dress from the Met Gala!
The Met Gala, the annual celebration of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art‘s summer Costume Institute exhibit, is loosely known as the Oscars of fashion. This year, models of the moment, editrixes, big-deal designers, as well as fashion-crowd approved pop stars and actresses flocked to the famed red steps in the name of Alexander McQueen, the subject of this years exhibit entitled Savage Beauty. While the designer’s famed creations didn’t dominate the carpet quite as we had hoped (but more on that later), there were lots of juicy bright hues (Zoe Saldana and Ginnifer Goodwin), ladylike lace (Rihanna, Taylor Swift), anything-but-basic black (Christina Ricci, Ashley Olsen, Stella McCartney), and plenty of glitzy gowns (Gwyneth Paltrow, Diane Kruger) to feast our eyes on.
As for our faves? We loved Diane in her up-to-there Jason Wu gown, and Liv Tyler in her breathtaking feathered Givenchy couture. And you?

Celeb poll: Vote for your favourite dress from the Oscars red carpet!
The glam factor was out in full force at last night’s 83rd Academy Awards. If a little restrained, the Hollywood A-list came out swinging in frothy Marchesa (Halle Berry and Hailee Steinfeld), sultry body-hugging red (Jennifer Lawrence in Calvin Klein Collection and Scarlett Johansson in Dolce & Gabbana) and archival poofed hems (Maria Tomei in vintage Charles James and Anne Hathaway in vintage Valentino… but more on her later!)
Our top picks? Cate Blanchett’s Givenchy Couture⎯”a real fashion dress unlike anything else on the red carpet,” says EIC Bernadette Morra⎯and Gwenyth Paltrow’s ultra-modern metallic shimmery Calvin Klein Collection column dress paired with Louis Vuitton jewels. Who was your favourite on the carpet?

Celeb poll: Which Grammy performance get-up was your favourite?
Certainly the most adventurous costume party of award show season, last night’s 53rd annual Grammy Awards certainly didn’t disappoint in the visual department. Raising her own bar even further, Lady Gaga literally hatched on-stage from a Hussein Chalayan-designed egg straight into her performance, outfitted in a see-through Mugler dress complete with prosthetic shoulders.

Celeb poll: Who did brights the best at the SAG Awards?
The red carpet at last night’s Screen Actor’s Guild Awards in LA was just like the spring runways: bright, bright and brighter! Newcomers Hailee Steinfeld and Jennifer Lawrence looked as if they planned to match in their similarly sunny orange and pink hues (in Prada and Oscar de la Renta respectively). Meanwhile, Black Swan leading ladies Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis played on their roles in the film, Natalie in a stunning white Azzaro and Mila in a dramatic Alexander McQueen. Who wore bright the best? Have your say, after the jump!

Celeb Poll: Shala Monroque rocks the Prada fur stole. Do you like her look?
It’s not even spring yet, but Miuccia’s crazily coloured, patterned and striped fur stoles have already started popping up on everyone from Marc Jacobs to Anna Dello Russo. It-girl Shala Monroque (pictured here with Dasha Zukova) rocked the look at the Valentino spring couture show this week, with a Perfecto jacket and virtually no bottoms. Love it? Hate it? Celeb poll: Sophia Coppola gets graphic. Do you like her look?
Sophia Coppola attended a press conference in Tokyo to discuss her new movie, Somewhere, in a dress created by who else… Marc Jacobs. Channeling her signature effortlessness, the Louis Vuitton graphic printed number was simply paired with fishnets and basic black heels. Are you into it? Have your say after the jump.

Celeb poll: Vote for your favourite Golden Globes look!
Colour was everywhere on last night’s Golden Globes red carpet. So much so, that we are seriously considering a mid-winter makeover. From the emerald green worn by Angelina Jolie, Elizabeth Moss and Mila Kunis to the shades of bubblegum on Claire Danes, Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore, the spectrum was covered at every point.
This year, it also seemed that the ball gown was eschewed – with the exception of a few knockout odes from Catherine Zeta-Jones and Olivia Wilde – for the sleek and sexy cutout lines on Emma Stone, Anne Hathaway and January Jones.
Between all of these visual delights, who do you think did it the best? View the full looks after the jump!

Cameron Diaz hit the green carpet for last night’s L.A premiere of The Green Hornet in a one shouldered Azzaro dress, which she paired with nude point toe Casadei heels and understated gold jewellery. Celeb poll: Lady Gaga pulls a Daphne Guinness. Do you like her look?

Celeb poll:Is Jessica Alba’s feathered couture a do or a don’t?
Jessica Alba walked the red carpet at the Little Fockers premiere in L.A. last night wearing a feathered Valentino couture dress that she paired with gold Christian Louboutin sandals. Celeb poll: Is Gwyneth Paltrow’s lace-up Pucci dress a hit or a miss?
Gwyneth Paltrow is on a publicity blitz for her upcoming movie “Country Song.” The actress joined co-star Leighton Meester for the L.A. screening of the movie and wore a white lace-up Pucci dress with strappy black sandals. While Gwyneth Paltrow is known for her minimalist outfit choices she raised the stakes with this daring dress. What do you think of Paltrow’s Pucci dress? Too much information or just the right amount of skin? Speak your mind after the jump.
