You know spring is in full bloom when the A-list walks the red carpet in outfits that just scream this season’s hottest trends.

This week celebrities continued to arrive at The Tribeca Film Festival in lust-worthy outfits one day after another. While Emma Roberts worked a vampy look, Emma Watson ditched her ball gowns from the Noah promo tour and opted for a pastel pink outfit with a modern twist at last Sunday’s Boulevard premiere. Chanel hosted its Annual Artists Dinner during the film festival with stellar ladies like Joan Smalls, Lily Aldridge and Leigh Lezark decked out in the fashion house’s much-coveted dresses.

Fresh from dancing to music in the desert, Coachella regulars (Kate Bosworth, Poppy Delevingne and Emmy Rossum to name a few) switched out of their festival wear and glammed it up in Los Angeles at the launch party for Jimmy Choo’s new CHOO.08 brand. Hosted by the creative director Sandra Choi, the glam event had Solange Knowles working the DJ booth and a very enviable guest list, to boot. Mad Men leading ladies January Jones and Christina Hendricks both made an appearance, but it was young star Kiernan Shipka who led the pack, sartorially speaking, in a pretty spring dress.

Elsewhere in red carpet land, some of our favourite stars have been busy promoting films all over the world. Emma Stone—whose amazing hair we documented earlier this week—is currently wearing glam dress after glam dress in Europe with IRL beau Andrew Garfield to promote The Amazing Spider-Man 2. And down under, the royals aren’t the only ones getting attention: Kate Upton, Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann are all making waves while promoting The Other Woman in Sydney.

The build up to this year’s Met Gala has been major. Designers, celebrities and the fashion elite have been scrambling to piece together a look that fits the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s theme, PUNK: Chaos to Couture and while admittedly, the punk-inspired looks were few and far between, we were certainly thrilled with a few.

Channeling her own recent V Magazine cover, Miley Cyrus went latter day Debbie Harry with platinum blonde spikes and a long fishnet Marc Jacobs dress. Anne Hathaway debuted a similarly bleached bob alongside her date and dresser for the night, Valentino Garavani, sending the twittersphere in a tizzy.

Co-chairs of the event Riccardo Tisci and Rooney Mara went punk-light with Mara in a beautifully detailed white lace Givenchy dress and a pop of crimson on the lips.

Also wearing Givenchy was none other than Beyoncé—the honourary chairperson for this year’s event. Pairing her custom-designed strapless black and gold printed gown with blinged out boots in the same shade, Queen Bey proved for her second year in a row that last on the red carpet is always best.

After finally receiving the Anna Wintour nod of approval, Kim Kardashian made an appearance at the Met Gala 2013 in a floral-print Givenchy dress with baby-daddy, Kanye West at her side.

Someone who is more known for consistently nailing red carpet looks than Kimye, is Emma Watson and she hit a high note yet again in a skin-bearing Prabal Gurung dress with a single silver drop earring hanging from her left ear.

And while Kristen Stewart has held fast to her role as the face of Balenciaga’s Florabotanica, she strayed from the house’s new wears, opting instead, for a crimson Stella McCartney pantsuit.

Talk about one stacked cast! Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, and Beyoncé are all slated to star in the upcoming movie musical, One Hit Wonders. Witherspoon, Paltrow, and Diaz will play singers from the ‘90s who decide to form a girl group to kick-start their failed careers. First reaction: Pseudo-Spice Girls? We’re sold! Some of the top Fall runway trends made their way deep into red carpet territory tonight, as the A-listers put on Hollywood’s biggest and best parade. From the rich reds on Emma Stone and Natalie Portman seen this season on the runway at Michael Kors, to the crisp whites on Gwyneth Paltrow, Rooney Mara, and Octavia Spencer seen at Raf Simons‘ last Jil Sander collection (not to mention everywhere at the Golden Globes), to the peplums spotted on Michelle Williams, Tina Fey, and just about every runway from New York to Milan, it seems that everyone is drinking the same Kool-Aid.
