How to Dress Without Shaving Your Legs: 6 Tips for a YOLO Early-Spring
There are very few negatives to spring, but if we had to pick one, it’d be bidding adieu to the fact that no one knew how hairy your legs were all winter-long. Like being braless in public or a spy for MI6, hairy legs were our secret—at parties, at work, and just about anywhere else our carefully hidden legs were taking us. But now that the sun is out and the flowers are blooming, you’re bound to be exposed if your legs haven’t seen a razor since October.
Some say it’s the time to break one out, but we say take a few extra weeks of fuzzy freedom! Spring is about buying yourself some time via your cleverly layered wardrobe. Here’s how:

The Razor Designed for Women That’s Actually Made By Women
Shaving her legs always sucked for Karen Young. From razor burn to having to invasively remove ingrown hairs, she would wonder if the problem was her and tried various products on the market to see if things would improve. “I’d find myself in the aisles of Duane Reade staring down all the options,” she says. […]

What’s the simplest alternative to professional gel manicures? They’re too time-consuming to commit to!
If you’re not able to commit your time (or money!) to gel manicures done by a pro, rest assured that you have a long-lasting alternative that you can pick up at the drugstore. Sally Hansen Miracle Gel (shown in “Mad Women”, $11, at drugstores) is the latest and greatest from the nail authority, and this formula is heavy-duty without the fuss of a UV or LED light-curing process, boasting up to 14 days of chip-free wear. Simply apply two coats of gel colour (no base coat required) and finish with the Miracle Gel Top Coat. Both the gel colour and top coat formulas contain similar ingredients, but the top coat contains a photoinitiator that cures with natural UV light, so the gel colour becomes more durable as time passes. Bonus: 47 shades in a slew of different finishes means this system is one you’ll definitely be able to embrace wholeheartedly!

Afternoon beauty fix: Everything you ever wanted to know about the skin in your armpits
It might not seem like an obvious issue, but I’ve got dark skin in the creases of my underarms. Is there anything I can do to lighten it?
Underarm pigmentation is an infrequently discussed beauty woe, probably because of its inherent embarrassment factor (even though we all suffered through sweaty and possibly smelly teenage years). If you’ve got dark skin beneath your arms, it’s simply a result of shaving your ‘pits—no shame there! -
Afternoon beauty fix: Shaving tips that will keep your legs smooth and irritation-free
The hair on my legs grows rather quickly, and my sensitive skin is prone to breaking out in red bumps. What’s my best option for hair removal?
Some people claim that laser hair removal is the quintessential cure for bothersome re-growth, but I’ve yet to hear one person rejoice in its affordability. With waxing, the recommended four-week break between treatments seems an awfully long time, and a quarter-inch of growth isn’t my idea of a good time. Both of these things considered, plus the sheer ease of shaving, brings me back to the basics every time: a razor blade plus shaving cream. However, I have a few extra tricks for you to make the process more rewarding.
