If the last leg of her tour wasn’t crazy enough for you, Miley Cyrus has added six more skin tight, barely-there leotards to her Bangerz tour wardrobe. After a month-long break from her tour due to an infection, the singer returned in London last Tuesday and we have to say, she is looking spicier than ever.
Adding to her customized ostrich feathered outfit by Simone Harouche, and her fur-laced and cannabis-encrusted getups by The Blonds, she’s now flaunting even more of The Blond’s leotards covered in Miley-faced dollar bills, tons of glitter and of course her signature tongue-exposing mouth symbol- in 3D. And not ignoring today’s of-the-moment trends, the style icon is also rocking neon yellow (also by The Blonds) and athletic styled leotards, did you expect any less? We sure didn’t! We guess she was probably feeling a little exposed, hence the addition of a long feathery yellow skirt (with a leg-baring slit), a hood, cowboy hat and beanie to finish off her ensembles.

Girl can’t help it: All of Miley Cyrus’s crazy Bangerz tour costumes

Last Friday, Vancouver was treated to opening night of Miley Cyrus’s much-anticipated Bangerz tour. To nobody’s surprise, the concert’s visuals delved into XXX territory, including tongue prints, high-cut leotards and 24-karat gold leaf rolling papers on sale at the merch table. But hey, what else would you expect from the queen of twerk controversy?
Cyrus revealed the nine-piece wardrobe created by fashion BFF Marc Jacobs, The Blonds and Roberto Cavalli as previously reported, to name a few.
Sliding down an inflated model of her own tongue (natch), Cyrys kicked the night off in a custom two-piece red suit by stylist Simone Harouche accented with ostrich feather shoulder details. Accessorizing with a pair of white cowboys boots and a white Chanel mini cross body bag, the singer gyrated through a rendition of her song “SMS (Bangerz)” alongside a group of neon bears and balloons. Later, Cyrus swapped into a cannabis-covered deep-V leotard by The Blonds, keeping the cowboy boots but swapping the Chanel for a silver backpack by the brand.

Miley Cyrus makes for the best “Bob Mackie cowgirl” on MTV Unplugged

Miley Cyrus brought it all back home last night for a countrified edition of MTV Unplugged. As one of the only music-focused holdouts of the channel, Unplugged has long since been the place to make history (Nirvana’s cover of David Bowie’s “The Man Who Sold the World” and Lauryn Hill’s controversial follow up to The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill are two biggies). And while Cyrus might not have reached VMA level in her bootie-on-bootie smack duet with Madonna, she once again proved her vocal chops. To boot, she proved that tacky is real trendy as of late in two over-the-top Nashville-approved looks.
Opening with an ultra twangy version of “4×4,” Cyrus went full out hoedown in a white bejewelled cowboy hat, blond bob wig and head-to-toe gingham cat suit custom made by her stylist Simone Harouche. The top featured a stud-encrusted yoke, which was worn open and filled with a bedazzled white necktie and shimmering belt. It was classic Dolly Parton (minus those famous double Ds), whom Cyrus covered later in the show with “Jolene.”

Behind the tongue wagging? The Coveteur goes backstage with Miley Cyrus at the MTV Video Music Awards
Talk about hitting the jackpot. On a day ruled by Miley Cyrus love/hate/backlash/confusion, The Coveteur has produced proverbial gold with a behind-the-scenes feature on Cyrus’s MTV Video Music Awards performance pre-prep, live on the site now.
The feature follows Cyrus and stylist Simone Harouche (she’s been responsible for the singer’s Susan Powter-meets-Cynthia doll makeover) backstage at the Barclay’s Stadium as they beautify for the show alongside Denika Bedrossian on make-up and Brant Mayfield on hair (yes to those genius twisty buns!).
