Would You Carry the Trash Can Bag from Moschino’s Fall 2017 Capsule Collection?
When I arrived at the Moschino show in Milan last season, there was a split second when I thought I might not make it out alive. Swallowed by the crush of the crowd outside the venue, I figured I’d at least die doing something I loved. Needless to say, I made it through the doors […]

Introducing the first-ever Google Streetwear View lookbook

Beaufille, for example, consistently produces gorgeously shot, I-want-to-curl-up-in-your-world-and-live-there lookbooks. Ultra-luxe houses like Louis Vuitton and Hermès also release unique LBs that we covet season after season. But when it comes to digital innovation in the world of apparel, Toronto-based clothing […]

Faux fur wraps, party dresses and wool coats: See all 13 looks from the Banana Republic Anna Karenina collection
See all 13 looks from the Banana Republic Anna Karenina collection »
In July, we were offered a taste of the Anna Karenina-inspired collection for Banana Republic and now that it’s October we have the full meal deal. The line is ready to launch in stores on October 31, meaning it’s ready to go for the holiday party circuit.
The collection—which is exclusively all-black, save for one red low-back dress—features faux fur wraps, hats, scarves, and vests. It’s easily an accurate depiction of the Russian inspiration from the film (and book) while simple-yet-elegant fitted dresses offer a modern touch. The pieces are ideal for a Canadian winter with cape coats, military-inspired double-breasted wool jackets, and classic leather driving gloves. For those just looking to amp up their current cocktail attire, sparkling statement jewellery and clutches play a leading role in the collection.

Christian Louboutin launches capsule collection to celebrate his 20th anniversary, and we’ve got the stunning sketches!
Christian Louboutin has launched a capsule collection of 20 of his most iconic shoe styles (and six bags!) to mark the designer’s 20th anniversary. “In France, 20 years defines a generation,” says the press release. And we say: any excuse to purchase a pair of his brand of red-soled beauties, right? Starting with “Pensée”, the first shoe that inspired the famed sole itself, the collection touches on the designer’s inspirations—be they showgirls, travel, Paris, or fetishism (oh, what we would have given to see the David Lynch and Louboutin Fetish exhibit).
The capsule collection styles are available on the designer’s Facebook page as of today.
