Sorry World, Adele is Never Going to Tour Again
If you’ve never had the opportunity to see Adele perform live, it looks like it might never happen. (We know, never say never, but…) The 15-time Grammy award-winning songstress hinted that her 25 tour may indeed be her last. Earlier this year, the 28-year-old bravely spoke out about her stage fright and insinuated that she […]

Inside Solange’s sold-out Toronto concert: 46 photos of the hippest kids gushing over pop music’s hippest rising star
See the photos from Solange’s Toronto concert »
When one of pop music’s definitive rising stars rolls into town, Toronto’s hippest music lovers take note. Case in point: Friday night’s sold-out Solange concert at the Danforth Music Hall. As Labour Day is a celebration in honour of those who fought to work less than 12 hours a day, it’s only fitting to indulge in a little R&R this weekend. Whether it’s restorative or preventative rest you’re after—what with a new school year, TIFF and Fashion’s Night Out on the horizon—there’s plenty to choose from, should you decide to leave your Adirondack chair.

The Weekend To-Do: A folk fest out west, a big-city flea market, the must-see movie of the moment and more!
The fall collections may have already hit store floors but don’t fret; there’s still plenty of time for days on the beach and nights on the patio. And this weekend there’s also a big-city flea market, a Prairie folk festival, a big closing ceremony and some contemporary Spanish design to check out. Olé!

The Weekend To-Do: Music festivals for all, Free People opens in Toronto and fireworks worth checking out in Vancouver
A wise woman from Michigan once said, “Music makes the people come together.” Those six words have never rung truer than this weekend, when thousands from across the land will assemble in parks for a tradition as old as time: the music festival. And for those more into crowd-dodging than crowd-surfing, there’s summer fireworks by the ocean and a cuter-than-cute rom-com at the movies. Take your pick.
