Young and beautiful: 15 rising celebrities who are killing it on the red carpet
See the top 15 young celebrities on the red carpet »
Is it just us or are young celebrities killing it on the red carpet as of late? When it comes to red carpet style, it’s expected to see some of our favourite (and more mature) celebrities making the list – think Diane Kruger, Cate Blanchett and Angelina Jolie. But lately, young starlets have been bringing their wardrobe A-game to the red carpet, naturally making their way onto best dressed lists alongside celebs that have been in the industry a lot longer. Sure, when it comes to talent, age doesn’t matter, but after stumbling across some of the ages of these young stars, we’d be lying if our minds weren’t blown to see how young these stars actually are. Because let’s be real here, some of us were not dressed so impeccably at age 14 (we’re looking at you Kiernan Shipka) or have Miu Miu campagins on our resume (ahem, Hailee Steinfeld and Elle Fanning). From up-and-coming Hollywood star Nicola Peltz to the industry’s top model Cara Delevingne, we’ve rounded up 15 A-lists stars under the age of 21 who have been topping the best dressed lists lately.

The first week of summer has been red carpet packed. And where a red carpet lays, you better bet there will be a stacked A-list to walk it. The week in celebrity style: See who made our top 10 best dressed
The Cannes Film Festival may be long over, but judging from this past week, celebs everywhere showed no signs of pulling any stops on stepping out in gold medal-worthy outfits. From the World Music Awards to world premieres, we round up the 10 best dressed looks from the week.
World Music Awards took place this past Tuesday drawing top musicians (and models!) to Monte Carlo. Amongst the A-listers was Miley Cyrus who surprised us all in two ensembles that was quite out of character. While her concerts usually calls for custom, barely-there bodysuits, our former cover girl switched it up and donned a gorgeous floral strapless gown for her live performance of “Wrecking Ball.” She later wore a bedazzling silver gown to not only accept the award for World’s Best Video, but also World’s Best Female Artist.

Can you guess how much celebrities make in front row?
How much would a designer have to pay you to persuade you to sit front row? If you answered “nothing, duh” then you are not Rihanna.
Reports are gaining momentum online that reveal a hefty front row price tag for the A-list. Jessica Chastain is said to have received $80,0000 to attend an Armani Privé show during Milan Fashion Week. Seem a little steep? For $70,000, you’ll get cool girl approval by way of Chloë Sevigny.
According to The Telegraph, getting Beyoncé or Rihanna to park their (fantastic) booties along the runway will cost a cool $100,000 a piece. When you think of how frequently we are seeing these beauties front row the price tag becomes offensively impressive. If you do the math, that means Rihanna made almost a millie at Paris Fashion Week attending shows by Lanvin, Givenchy, Chanel and more.

FASHION Magazine Summer 2014 cover: Elle Fanning
No 16-year-old on earth can compete with Elle Fanning’s Hollywood cachet. She’s been on set with Cate Blanchett, shopped Rodeo Drive with Sofia Coppola and partied with Miuccia Prada in Milan (being the current spokesperson for Miu Miu and all). If that doesn’t signal a gal who is going places, her latest role in this summer’s Maleficent—which has her sharing the silver screen with Angelina Jolie—will. (P.S. she already shared screen time with Brad Pitt in 2006’s Babel and 2008’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button).
On the cusp of Fanning’s next phase of fame, FASHION magazine photographed the young starlet for our Summer 2014 Issue in the apropos confines of an estate home in the Hollywood Hills. After she was snapped in outfits by a mix of labels ranging from Blumarine, Delpozo and Paule Ka, Fanning sat down with features editor Elio Iannacci to talk about fashion, film and family time with the Jolie-Pitt clan. Here is a sneak peak of Fanning’s cover story, due to hit newsstand shelves on May 19, 2014.

Miu Miu’s Fall 2014 front row is crazy star-studded (and Oscar-winning)!
See the Miu Miu Fall 2014 front row »
As Paris Fashion Week wraps up today, the international fashion circuit comes to a close. But as with all good things, the arguably best shows were saved for last. Or rather the most star studded front rows. At this morning’s Miu Miu Fall 2014 show, every pretty young thing turned up to watch the runway; even Jared Leto and his perfectly coiffed hair made an appearance!
Prada/Miu Miu It girl and newly minted Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o was wore a Spring 2014 ruched pink skirt and cropped jacket with an embellished collar in a deep raspberry shade that complemented her skin tone flawlessly. After reportedly introducing herself to all of her fellow front row-ers (so darn polite!), she pulled out some thick framed tortoise shell glasses to enjoy the show. Bad eyesight be damned. Fellow Miu Miu frontwoman Elle Fanning kept things prim and proper, removing her light blue Miu Miu jacket to reveal a yellow houndstooth sleeveless top and matching blue pleated skirt as she sat for the show.

Miu Miu casts the latest group of bright young things for Spring 2014 ad campaign

Miu Miu focuses its ever-prophetic eye on a foursome of rising actresses this season, casting Elle Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen, Bella Heathcote and the most recent apple of fashion’s eye, Lupita Nyong’o, in the just-released Spring 2014 ads. Photographed by Inez and Vinoodh against saturated shades of blue, purple and the brand’s signature deep red, the shots reflect Miuccia Prada’s latest take on pretty-meets-perverse, with each actress dressed to the hilt in bejewelled corsets, wool knee-highs, sixties showgirl boots and swing coats. Whether coquettish (Fanning), lackadaisical (Heathcote), pensive (Olsen) or regal (Nyongo’o), each actress translates the Miu Miu woman as well as has come to be expected from their buzzy on-screen roles. Following a long line of ingénues-turned-megastars like Kirsten Dunst, Chloë Sevigny, Katie Holmes, Lindsay Lohan and most recently Blue is the Warmest Colour leads Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos, we daresay the future’s looking mighty bright.

Elle Fanning vs. Dakota Fanning: The sisters battle it out for best dressed in Louis Vuitton
Earlier today in Paris, sisters Dakota and Elle Fanning sat front row at Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2014 show to see Marc Jacobs’ final collection for the fashion house. The Fanning girls, who both appeared in past campaigns for Marc Jacobs’ own namesake brand, go tête-à-tête in today’s best dressed feature.
Dakota Fanning wore a floor grazing black dress of sheer lace layers from the Louis Vuitton Resort 2014 collection. Her accessories included a black monogrammed LV clutch and black open toe sandals. Mimicking her sister, Elle Fanning picked her look from the same collection, appearing leggy in an all white artfully embroidered mini skirt and a matching loose long sleeved top. Her pick was a great contrast to her sister’s all black and her teal wedge sandals added just the right pop of colour to her all frosty look. Dakota loosely tied her hair while Elle let hers hang on her shoulders. Both girls went for simple makeup with a rosy lipstick, Dakota’s was slightly matte and Elle’s glossy.

Rodarte may or may not be teaming up with Dakota and Elle Fanning
How much did we adore the Fanning sisters’ gowns at the Met Gala last Monday? We loved the winged back, the sheer panels and the tie-dye. We loved it all. Well, rumour has it 19-year-old Dakota and 15-year-old Elle Fanning may be heading to the drawing board and teaming up to work with Rodarte designers […]
