Thankfully, the eponymous collections of Toronto designer Jenny Bird (jenny-bird.com) are no longer one such thing. Since the brand’s launch at Holt Renfrew (737 Dunsmuir St., 604-681-3121, holtrenfrew.com) a few weeks ago, we’ve had our eye on Le Pouchette ($250), a cross-body pouch that promises to be our summer arm candy must-have (seriously, who has hands for a purse when there’s hot dog eating and arms-in-the-air dancing to be done?).
