Fashion news: Marc Jacobs on posing nude, zitless Biebster new face of acne meds and Urban Outfitters’ painful irony
Photography by Nan Goldin, courtesy of Harper's Bazaar Marc Jacobs, who recently posed nude for the campaign of his latest men’s fragrance Bang, explained the process in an interview with Calvin Klein. “There’s nothing I can wear in this ad that isn’t going to look ridiculous. At one point, I tried jeans and a shirt, and it didn’t work. So then Juergen said, ‘Take off the clothes.’ So I did, and that became the ad…I did feel good about the way I looked, so it was easy and—well, a guy looks better to me with no clothes on than with clothes!” [Harper’s Bazaar]
Despite the fact that you can hardly walk two strides without tripping over a Zara or an H&M, both European fast fashion retailers will open their online boutiques this September. No tripping necessary. [Guardian]
