Taylor Momsen is the latest find herself in Tim Gunn’s crosshairs. “What a diva! She was pathetic, she couldn’t remember her lines, and she didn’t even have that many. Taylor Momsen ran her mouth the other day in an interview with Spin Magazine. “People think pop is rock, and the lines are getting blurred. Now Rihanna‘s wearing f—–‘ leather jackets, and it’s really annoying.” Taylor will most likely regret this next time she finds herself encountering Rihanna in a dark alley. Those leather jackets have spikes. [Huffington Post]

Fashion news: World-weary teens, Tamara Mellon may sell Jimmy Choo, and Ralph Lauren’s new catalogue, er, kids’ book
We’d like to direct your attention to the self-professed “gothic counterpoint to Tavi,” French wunderkind Charles Guislain. Though he doesn’t have a blog, his sense of style has turned enough heads to land him in Italian Vogue and turn him into a YouTube sensation. At 17, he says he is already tired of Europe: “I need to escape European life. I am a little bored with this now.” Le sigh! [The Cut]

Fashion news: Marc and Lorenzo split, Valentino wins a 16-year legal battle and Snooki is the new Liz Taylor
Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone are no longer an item. While there may be “break-up rumours were false!” updates–and the inevitable “rumours that the break-up was false, were false!” updates–Martone maintains, via Twitter, that they’ve been split for about two months. So maybe this time it’s for real. Boo. [The Cut]
The much cackled about Snooki, gossip fodder and star of Jersey Shore, has just been compared to Elizabeth Taylor by fashion writer Cathy Horyn. Why? Images of Liz, recently published in Vanity Fair, “confirm a short, busty woman with high hair, big jewelry, garish taste in clothes and a complete indifference to the cyclonic effect that all that produced.” [NYTimes]

Bloggers are noticing that images of this male model from a Japanese Vogue Hommes shoot looks suspiciously like Lady Gaga. The performer’s stylist, Nicola Formichetti styled this shoot and tweeted “Lady Gaga As A Boy For Vogue Hommes Japan?” [Oh No They Didn’t via The Cut]
Another fashion “mystery”: Madonna and daughter Lourdes have chosen a face for their upcoming Material Girl line for Macy’s. The name hasn’t been announced, but it’s hinted that she’s known for her rocker style when she isn’t on the set of a certain hit TV drama. Basically, it’s Taylor Momsen. [The Cut]
