Michelle Williams, her BFF Busy Philipps, and Charlize Theron were all wearing them last night, making the Golden Globes almost as headwear-focused as an episode of Gossip Girl. While we don’t deny that they’re cute—the perfect accessory for rescuing a bad hair day or adding a punch of quirky style—headbands still seem slightly out of place at top-caliber award shows. Theron looks a little too prom with her sparkly band, and Williams takes away from the impact of her full-length gown with such a playful piece in her hair. But what do you think?
