Dispatch from Milan: Mark Fast’s clubby collabo with Italian retailer Pinko
Between two of my favorite Milan experiences (the Prada show and my beloved bowl of spaghetti rosa), I hobbled over to the hopping Brera District to congratulate fellow Canuck Mark Fast on his brand spanking new collaboration with Italian retailer Pinko (sort of like an Italian Bebe) that will be in stores for spring.

Dispatch from Milan: The power of the flower at D&G
If the seed package and botanically-inspired invitation wasn’t enough of a clue, D&G‘s garden runway, chock full of fresh roses and peonies, was all you needed to get the theme of their spring collection, and fresh and adorable it was! Dispatch from Milan: A YSL state of mind at Gucci
Fashion is in a YSL state of mind this season, and I must admit, after seeing the YSL docmentary L’Amour Fou at TIFF, I’ve caught the bug. Nowhere was this mood felt more strongly than at Gucci’s homage to the designer’s glam ’70s heyday–the sexy sophisticated show took a romp through familiar Saint Laurent territory from the disco, all the way to Marrakesh.
